Why is it so goddamn hot?

So I just drove back from Philadelphia, where it was 70 and sunny for four days in a row. And I seem to be the only person that thinks this is just unbelievably scary. I'll admit, I'm pretty convinced of global warming trends. Having spent 6 years working for an environmental advocacy organization, I had plenty of exposure to compelling data and stories on the subject. So the recent weather, combined with the freak rash of severe climate events around the globe shouldn't really surprise me, right? Wrong. I'm much deeper in denial than I ever could have imagined. I mean, what's a Syracuse native gotta do to get some friggin' snow around here?!?!?
